The premiere of Fritz Lang’s “Metropolis” took place in Berlin on January 10, 1927.
To mark this occasion, a screening of the film will be held at the University of Arts and Design (Hochschule für Gestaltung) as part of a collaboration between the Karlsruhe Silent Film Festival, the University of Music, and the University of Arts and Design.
The film will be accompanied by a quartet performing the original score by Gottfried Huppertz.
