“The Rink” Charlie works as a waiter in a restaurant, or at least tries to. Not only his colleagues, but also the guests suffer from him. Charlie quickly leaves the restaurant and goes roller skating. There he meets a customer from the restaurant who is harassing a young lady (Edna Purviance). Charlie has to intervene – what follows is top-class slapstick.
Buster Keaton also offers top quality in “One Week”. Buster is newly married and receives a prefabricated house as a gift, which he still has to put together. Everything should be ready in a week, but Buster is having a hard time…
